Emergency contraception (Plan B) is available without a prescription at many local pharmacies including Walgreens, CVS, and Meijer. It's also available through telehealth services like Nurx and Wisp with delivery options. Some healthcare providers listed on this site can also provide prescriptions for ella, another form of emergency contraception.

For services not available locally, the nearest Planned Parenthood clinics are in Traverse City and Green Bay, Wisconsin. Financial assistance for travel may be available through organizations like the Michigan Abortion Fund and the Women's Center of Marquette.

Several options exist: The Marquette County Health Department and Upper Great Lakes Family Health Center offer sliding scale fees based on income. The Michigan Family Planning Program can provide coverage for specific reproductive health services. Community health centers are required to provide care regardless of ability to pay. Marquette Medical Urgent Care can provide information on sliding fees based on income for Medication Abortion Services (MABs).
